I went to nowhere today and back again. It was fun.

Norman hunts for treasure

I'm feeling much better now and this week went out to visit some friends. We had a treasure hunt and all of us found real gold coins...........I'm rich!!!!! We sat down at the end to count our loot then share it our evenly. It turns out it wasn't real gold.......I realised when everyone started eating their share.........

Norman catches the measles

Hi everyone
Just in case you've been wondering what adventures I've been up to lately I thought I'd better let you know that I've been sick with the measles all week. I am nearly better now but it has been a sad week in bed with my pet rocks for company. The Dr said it was a rare case of the Square Measles.

Meanwhile as I lay in my bed I have been able to think of something nice to do for someone. More on that soon. Yummmmmm....is that fresh chocolate chip cookies I can smell in the oven?????

A little surprise

Today I got given a little present. I was soooooo excited cos' as you all know now, I love rocks, and this little present was of the rocky kind.


2 little rocks with faces...........now my most favourite rocks. Now I have 7 rocks in my rock collection!


It's so lovely to get surprise presents. Now I'm thinking who can I give a surprise present to? I'll let you know when I think of what I can do.

Norman goes to church

Today is Sunday so I went to church this morning. Now that may not seem like much of an adventure to you but to me everything is an adventure (especially when you are as small as me!).


I always wear my seat belt and I hope you do too.




I had a little problem at church......my seat. I'm only light and my seat was one of those bounce back ones and for some reason I just couldn't get comfortable. Never mind, the service was great and I learnt a lot about how we just all really want to have friends and fit in, so true. Even naughty people like Zacchaeus (from the bible who was very short like me) wanted friends but the key to having friends is being friendly yourself. So from now on I'm going to be very friendly to everyone, that's my new goal. Except for the neighbours dog......I'm still going to keep away from him.

This afternoon I went flying....................on my washing line. I don't recommend you do this at home but I can get away with it. It really is fun.

Hello everyone out there in cyber world

Hi, I'm Norman

Who is Norman you may ask......well I'm a fun loving monkey, in fact Fun is my middle name.... it's not actually but I'll tell you more about that later. I love toast for breakfast, especially with honey and I love Volkswagen Beetles, they are my favourite cars and when I grow up I want to buy one.

This is my first blog and I've been thinking about what to write on my first post and thought it should be funny and adventurous and interesting so I wanted to do a Sydney Harbour Bridge climb. There were a few problems with that, height restrictions.......I'm way too short, and the cost, I'd have to save my $5 a week pocket money for a long long time so perhaps another day!

So in the mean time to make you smile I found this funny picture and here's a photo of me counting my rock collection, so far I have 5.
